Dr Dylan Joseph completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Pretoria. In pursuit of his ophthalmic career, he has been privileged to have served communities in most provinces in South Africa over the last decade.

He specialized in Ophthalmology at the University of the Free State and wrote both the South African College of Medicine final as well as his university’s exit exam, obtaining distinction in the latter. He was also awarded the prestigious Dean’s medal for the top Masters degree student in the faculty of medicine.

in 2012 he set up two practices in Knysna and Plettenberg Bay, South Africa, where he focused primarily on cataract and laser vision correction surgery.  After five years in private practice, he relocated to Dublin, Ireland to join a world leader in laser vision correction surgery, Mr Arthur Cummings.
